Janaza announcements

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Innā lillāhi wa innā ilayhi rāji’ūn

Every announcement is confirmed with the masjid before it is published

A person at Wasl checks each one. Nothing here is gathered automatically, and nothing goes out on a single unverified report.

Out of respect for the family, the name, burial arrangements, and family requests are shared with community members — as the family and the masjid direct. This page is never indexed by search engines.

Know of a janaza that isn’t listed?

Reports are confirmed before anything is published — and treated with the urgency they deserve.

Report a janaza

People who follow the masjid on Wasl, with important notices on, are emailed when a janaza is published or changes. Announcements appear here once someone has confirmed them with the masjid, and Wasl only knows about the ones it has been told about — this page is not a complete record of janazas in the area.
