How Wasl works
Nothing here publishes because a machine found it. Everything here says where it came from.
Wasl reads masjid websites, calendars and public listings, so the record is useful before anyone is asked to contribute. Nothing gathered this way appears publicly until a person has looked at it — no exceptions, not even for a source that has been right a thousand times.
Anyone can add a gathering — a photo of a flyer is enough. A person reviews every submission before it appears. People who are consistently right are trusted sooner. If something is wrong, one tap says so, and corrections go to the front of the queue.
A masjid claims its page — confirmed by a call, or an email from its own domain — and then has the final word on its own information. What it posts appears immediately, marked Official. Claiming is free, and always will be.
Every listing carries exactly one of these, on the card itself. You should never have to read a policy page to know how much to trust something.
